Our V-Beam or Vascular Laser is designed to destroy the red or the vascular portion of these blemishes and the body then reabsorbs the red cells that have been zapped by the laser beam. The laser can cause temporary purple bruising.  It can take 2-3 laser treatments done 4-6 weeks apart. The V-Beam is also excellent to remove the redness out of scars. It often flattens the scar at the same time. Best time to get the redness out of a scar is closest to the occurrence of the scar. Scars less  than 2 years have the best results. IPL and Fraxel Lasers are excellent to reduce the redness from Rosecea, red splotchy hues of redness on the face and general redness from sun damage.
