In a brief understanding, Dr. Kane likes the benefits of all the fillers. They all provide a unique benefit and he has creatively uses all of them in his practice. Dr. Kane uses the fillers like Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm Ultra and Radiesse ideally for patients who need small areas of the face and can be easily performed without anesthesia and within 15 minutes right in an exam room. At the demonstration attendees will have the ability to see Dr. Kane inject the fillers into patient’s nasal folds and marionette lines to smooth and reduce the depth of the folds and creases. Patients love their lips filled and Dr. Kane will show how he can plump the lips making them naturally fuller and not over done. So when does Dr. Kane use fat rather than fillers in the face? Dr. Kane will use fat if the patient is undergoing a surgical procedure like a face lift with lipo contouring of the neck or from a liposuction procedure of the arms, abdomen, back, love handles and legs. Since he is surgically removing the fat, why not reuse it. Dr. Kane performs his surgery in his accredited operating facility in his private office and can easily transfer the fat into the face during the plastic surgery procedure. Ideally, Dr. Kane creatively enhances the upper cheeks with fat, fills in the nasal folds, plumps the lips and can fill in deep furrows between the eyebrows. Using your own fat at the time of surgery saves the patient quite a lot of money as the fat goes along way and can be used in multiple places all at the time of surgery. It takes very little time since the patient is already asleep and it is easy to perform. Fat is not as efficient an option if a patient is not having surgery and only wants a small area of the face filled.
