Most excitedly will be the attendance of 4 body painted women by Jen Seidel who will be lavishly painted in RED with the Red Devils theme. Even men may want to consider coming out to this very exciting and fun event for a fabulous cause. The women will be wearing the Faye Danielle’s jewelry that will be auctioned off in the evening. Make sure you get an up close and personal view! What a great gift for the wife or girlfriend while having a great time looking over all the jewelry.
Most importantly is the reason for the event. The Red Devils is a Maryland Non-Profit organization that provides direct financial support for women who are undergoing breast cancer therapies, such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy. The organization got its name because the women experiencing the most severe chemotherapy called the chemo drug “Red Devils” because it is red and syrupy and causes devastating and incapacitating effects on the women’s bodies. They can not function in normal routine life, meaning they can not work, take care of their children, perform household duties, food shopping or cooking or even drive. Many women lack the resources to help themselves during this very harsh time. The Red Devils is notified by the social workers about women who need their help and they immediately pay all bills for these women or find them the resources to help them. Presently, the Red Devils work with 37 hospitals in Maryland and try to raise $500,000.00 a year. The Susan G. Komen helps them, but the majority comes from fund raiser like the Painted Ladies Event: Paint the Town Red.
